SHORTLISTED FOR THE RUTH BORCHARD SELF PORTRAIT PRIZE 2015 WITH ‘GLASS CEILING’
28” x 24” Oil on canvas. The biennial Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Prize returns to Kings Place for its third exhibition. Featuring 100 works by British and Irish artists, the exhibition showcases the very best of contemporary self-portraiture. From students to Royal Academicians, in works that range from lithographs to 3-D paintings, drawings to oils, photo-etchings to watercolours. The exhibition is now open to the public at Piano Nobile, Kings Place, London until October 2015.

From my previous work in canine portraiture and showing with the Kennel Club, I was commissioned by the Kennel Club in 2013 to paint their patron, Her Majesty The Queen. The last commissioned painting was in 1974 by Terence Cuneo. The painting hangs in the Kennel Club Headquarters in London.
Art work purchased by the Prince of Wales & Duchess of Cornwall. The painting is part of their Royal Highnesses private art collection in Kensington Palace (2012)
